We're twin sisters who have spent our entire lives creating. Long before we ever imagined having a business together, we were making things with our hands—learning to sew, quilting, building projects in the workshop, tending bees, growing what we could, and finding joy in the simple satisfaction of creating something from scratch.

Life, however, has a way of keeping you busy.

For years, our focus was on raising families, building careers, cheering on our children, and keeping up with the beautiful chaos that comes with everyday life. Our creative passions were never forgotten—they simply waited patiently in the background.

Then something wonderful happened.

We turned 50.

With our children grown and beginning lives of their own, we suddenly found ourselves with something we hadn't had in years: time. Time to dust off the sewing machines, learning how to quilt, fire up the woodworking tools, check the beehives, and rediscover the hobbies that had always made us happiest.

What started as "making things for ourselves" quickly became making gifts for family and friends. Before long, people were asking, "Can you make one for me?"

That's how Patch & Pine was born.
